mOByDic Systems

The diagnostic systems ´mOByDic´ are based on the special chip ' OE90C26x0 ' from the vehicle accessories specialist ' Oezen electronics Ltd..'

Over 18 years experience, innumerable own developments for automakers and their supplier flowed into the development of these devices. They were also the first in the Low Cost range, which could serve several minutes at the same time - inclusively still very new CAN bus.

From the abilities of this interfaces also the magazine ELEKTOR is convinced a self building project and in July/August 2005 presented. We offer both accessories for the self's building and ready-made devices.

What ´mOByDic´ diagnostic systems can do ?
- Read diagnostic trouble codes, both generic and manufacturer-specific (Diagnostic Trouble Codes, DTC)
- Clear trouble codes and turn off the MIL ("Check Engine" light)
- Data graphing and logging, Freeze Frame data
- Continuous and Non-Continuous Oxygen Sensor test results

The following protocols are supported from the ´mOByDic´ Interfaces

  • ISO 9141-2
  • ISO14230-4 (KWP2000)
  • J1850 - PWM
  • J1850 - VPWM
  • ISO15765-4 (CAN)

Minimum System Requirements ?
- A standard PC or Laptop with Windows and serial Port
(if your computer dosn't have a serial port but an USB-Post, you can use the RS232/USB-Adapter - you will find it in 'Accessories')
