DIAMEX Simulator

OBD-DIAG ECU- / EOBD-Simulator, particularly for the hardware simulation of the OBD2 diagnose interface develops.
The simulator offers all protocols of OBD2/EOBD, selectable over switches. Laterally appropriate standard diagnostic socket. Oppositely four potentiometers for change of the simulated values. LCD display (4x20), two LEDs for MIL-on and connect. Control panel with intelligent menu guidance. Optional USB interface for configuring by PC (not in use yet). Config-Tool for various parameters and attitudes.
High-quality, compact and sturdy aluminum housing, noble optics, everlasting laser inscription.
The following protocols are simulated:
1. PWM (SAE J1850)
2. VPWM (SAE J1850)
3. ISO9141-2
4. KWP2000 slow init (ISO 14230-4)
5. KWP2000 fast init (ISO 14230-4)
6. CAN 11bit/250kB (ISO 15765-4)
7. CAN 11bit/500kB (ISO 15765-4)
8. CAN 29bit/250kB (ISO 15765-4)
9. CAN 29bit/500kB (ISO 15765-4)
The following sensor values can be changed over the attached potentiometers:
- VELO (Speed)
- RPM (Rounds per minute)
- PCT (Computed load)
- ECT (Coolant temperature)
Furthermore one can release the MIL after a Connect with the Button [ DTC ]. This is visualized by a red LED. After released MIL can a virtual error memory be selected.
Automatically four error codes are deposited:
1. P0115
2. P0230
3. P0350
4. P0460
The sensor values in the instant of exposure are transferred to the error environment memory (freeze frames). By an attached OBD-2 Analyser can be put back the error memory together with environment variables.
Fixed values:
- PID-Liste = B87BB010
- VID (Fahrgestellnummer) = AGV-SIMULATOR 1.5
- ECU (Steuergeräte) Anzahl = 1
- OBDSUP (OBD-Norm) = EOBD
Usage:
Connect the provided power pack (12V/0,5A, stabilizes). The central pin leads pluses. A pole protection diode is integrated. The power input depends mainly on the test specimen. The test specimen should not exceed a power input of 0.3 ampere. Otherwise a stronger power pack must be attached..

| 1) |
With "Prot" the protocol can selected and activated with "Run" (press short). "Back" returns to the manual protocol preselection mode. |
| 2) |
In the "Auto" mode it starts immediately the last protocol. With "Back" can the "Auto" mode be left. |
| 3) |
The "Auto" mode permits to test the fast connecting of protocols through around e.g. a OBD2-Interface rationally. |
| 4) |
Fast forward: Key three keep pressed, key four switches protocols upward. |
| 5) |
Fast back: Key two keep pressed, key four switches protocols downward. |
| 6) |
After effected connect DTC can be pressed. The red LED lights up, error memory and Freeze Frames can now be selected and resettet. |
| 7) |
Key RESET (longer than one second pressed keep) starts the simulator again. Car and manual mode remain as adjusted. |
The optional USB interface is presently not yet usable.
| - Only one device necessarily for all OBD-2/EOBD protocols |
| - LC-Display for viewing of adjusted protocol |
| - Simple operation over 4 switches |
| - Status indication with 2 LED |
| - 4 vehicle parameters by potentiometers changeable |
| - MIL by pressing the key activatable |
| - Current potentiometer parameters are stored when MIL activation in the Freeze Frame |
| - Automatic production of Multiframes (e.g. with more than 3 error codes) |
| - Negative answers with KWP2000 and CAN (SAE J1979) |
| - ISO15765-2 conformal Multiframe answers with CAN |
| - Clean signal slopes at all exits by the use of MOSFETs |
| - Bios completely written in Assembler, perfect timing for all protocols |
| - Many parameters configurable (with optional programming adapter at the PC) |
| - Bios upgrade possible (with optional programming adapter at the PC) |
| - No connection to a PC necessarily for the simulation |
| - 16-pin OBD2-connector (female) with current supply for attached interfaces |
| - Current supply over 12 V plug power pack |
