This complete USB package will work with over 95% of OBD-II equipped cars. The choice of multi-protocol vehicle owners, mobile mechanics, breakdown services and multi-manufacturer fleet operators.

The OBD-Diag AGV4000exp Universal interface is an extremely compact tool with USB connection completely integrated in the OBD2 plug, therefore one doesn't need an expensive OBD2 connection device.

Cars after 2000 (petrol engine) or 2003 (diesel) are capable of OBD2.or EOBD (Europe). With the built-in protocols to CAN/ISO9141 2/KWP2000/VPWM and PWM this covers all vehicles permitted in the EU. Ford vehicles are equipped for the most part with PWM between 1996 -- 2004. American imports have VPWM. Newer vehicles after 2004 have for the most part CAN protocol.

This interface is updated and upgradeable from the USB interface. You can personalize this interface or equipment with your company ID by means of enclosed ID tool. Software applications of one's own are therefore possible.

The choice of the protocols is carried out automatically and is transparent for the users software. The protocol recognition and connection are executed within two seconds. If the built-in button is kept pushed down when slipping in to the OBD 2 service socket, the interface switches over to the software platform VAG.com and behaves like a K/KL interface.

Based on the AGV4000 chip / FTDI USB2.0 very high sampling rate (a value approx. 3 Hz -- about 20% quicker than basing ELM32x).
