OBD DIAG® 4500 Handheld scanner, High Quality made in EU (germany).

The OBD DIAG 4500 multi-scanner is diagnosis equipment of the new generation. Several modes of operation make a very broad operational area possible in modern vehicle fault finding.



Four devices in one:

• PC interface, compatibly to the AGV4000
• K/KL interface, VAG.com compatibly to version 4.09
• CAN interface, low level mode
• Handheld mode, diagnostic adapter without PC

Handheld functions (without PC):
The multi-scanner can be operated without PC support as mobiles diagnostic tool.

• Automatic or manual choice of the OBD2-Protokolls
• Selection and display of the most important vehicle specifications (dependent on the vehicle)
• Live display of 2 data lines at the same time while driving (selecting and combinable)
• Indicate the chassis number, if from the vehicle supports this function
• Selection and display of the error code memory capure of the error code
• Selection and display of the Freeze Frame data
• Delete the error code memory
• Service for LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) systems

PC interface function:
Interface is downward compatible in this mode to the ELM320, ELM322, ELM323 and ELM327 from Elm-Electronics. The following user software is usable: OBD DIAG, C.E.S. specially edition, Scantool, Digimoto, OBD ScanMaster, wOBD, material Scan, Scan test, OBD gauge for pocket PC, OBD2ScanTool ...


Expert CAN monitor function:
A simple solution provided in order to send and receive with the PC on the CAN bus messages. Messages automatically formated in the standard and extended provided and on the CAN bus will spend. Received messages indicated. By means of optional adapter access to comfort electronics is allowed:

• Freely definable CAN bit rates
• RTR of frames support
• Lists Only mode
• Time Stamp option in ms for detailed CAN message

VAG Mode:
The multi-scanner can be switched into the transit mode and behaves then like a k-LINE PC interface/KKL PC interface. In order to use e.g. the software VAG.com (maximally version 409).
